- Fourth of July Fireworks at Navy Pier – Watch the sky light up during a spectacular fireworks show choreographed to a patriotic score. Set along beautiful Lake Michigan, visitors can enjoy cozy up on Navy Pier’s dock, 600 E. Grand Ave. on July 4 and take in the sights and sounds of the festivities. - 57th Annual Fourth of July Celebration – Commemorate our nation’s independence at the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N Clark St, from 10 a.m. to noon on July 4. Enjoy time-honored traditions, family festivities, and a speech about Independence Day. Patriotic musical performances, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and a children’s parade led by the World’s Tallest Uncle Sam will close the event.
